Course Description
The Crisis Resource Essentials Workshop (CREW) is a 3.5-day immersive training program designed to equip acute care physicians with the essential skills needed to manage high-pressure medical emergencies. This course focuses on:
- Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) & emergency diagnostics
- Ultrasound-guided vascular access & interventions
- Mechanical ventilation management & troubleshooting
- Crisis team coordination & effective communication strategies
CREW integrates high-fidelity simulations, interactive case-based learning, and expert-led debriefing to help participants refine decision-making, leadership, and procedural competency in real-world acute care settings.

All didactic lectures will be available as online modules for candidates 2 weeks prior to the contact course to prepare for the course well in advance. All the required theory knowledge will be learnt through web platform. There will be a Q&A section available after each lecture to interact with the faculty for any additional doubts to be clarified. Completing online modules is mandatory for certification

Contact course is aimed at providing practical knowledge about everything that one needs to know about Emergency POCUS, Interventions Under USG, Mechanical Ventilation, Crisis and Communication Management. This is achieved by way of 30% of time spent on demonstrations and 70% time on hands-on training, which includes:
